$2,500 Puppy Sponsorship
2026 marks 20 years of Groodles Australia!
To celebrate 20 years of Groodles Australia breeding beautiful healthy puppies, we are sponsoring half of the $5,000 purchase price of a Groodles Australia puppy for one selected person or family.
The successful applicant will receive a $2,500 sponsorship, leaving $2,500 payable by the applicant.
Groodles Australia began in 2006 with a simple idea: breed beautiful, family-raised Groodle puppies to help raise funds for the education of young people in Timor-Leste.
Twenty years later, that idea has grown into an incredible community of families, Champion Families, volunteers and supporters, with more than $772,000 donated to charities along the way.
To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’d like to enrich one family’s life in a very special way.
Groodles Australia is offering a $2,500 Puppy Sponsorship to a person or family for whom welcoming a Groodle could make a meaningful difference – perhaps through companionship, emotional support, confidence, connection or simply bringing something very special to the life of a child, adult or family.
Submissions close Monday 7th December
The selected applicant will be notified
on 21st December 2026.
How to apply:

Within the form you will be asked to tell us your story in 300-600 words. We’d love to hear:
- A little about you and your family
- Why you would love to welcome a Groodle into your life
- What having a Groodle would mean to you or your family
- The difference you believe your Groodle could make
- The type of companionship or support you are hoping for
- Your experience with dogs and the home and lifestyle you can provide
- Why now is the right time to welcome a puppy
We welcome you to include a recent photo of yourself or your family with your application. When completing this form, please share only the information you are comfortable providing. Detailed medical information is not required though may assist in the success of your application.
What we ask from Selected Applicant
Our Puppy Sponsorship is about helping a family welcome a Groodle and we’d love to follow along in this journey…
We ask that you:
- Provide us with updates and a few photos at least once every 4 months until your Groodle turns two.
- Allow us to share your photographs and updates.
- Keep us updated on the puppy’s development, milestones and the role they are playing in your life / lives of your family.
- Undertake puppy preschool and appropriate ongoing training, socialisation, veterinary care, grooming and responsible ownership.
- Continue to meet the normal requirements of a Groodles Australia puppy owner as outlined in our Puppy Purchase Agreement.
No personal social media account is required: You will not be required to post about Groodles Australia on social media, though this would be great if you wanted to. Updates can simply be emailed to us.
You can choose how you are identified publicly: we will not publish sensitive personal, medical or family information from the original application without your agreement.
From time to time, we may invite you to Groodles Australia events, anniversary activities etc. Participation is welcomed but not mandatory.
Our aim is simply to follow along with you on your Groodle’s journey!
In submitting this application, you will need to:
- Agree to “What we ask from our Selected Applicant” (read this above)
- Read and agree with the “Sponsorship Terms and Conditions.” found in the Application Form.
- Read and agree to the Puppy Purchase Agreement and will sign this if you are the selected applicant –
- Be able to pay the balance of $2,500 (plus any necessary travel costs) on or soon after sponsorship announcement date 21st December 2026. We are planning a litter that will be ready for homing in the first week of January, but If there is no puppy available from that litter, you won’t be required to pay the balance until at least 2 weeks before the next available puppy’s homing date.
- Agree you can cover the ongoing costs of owning a dog, such as puppy classes, dog training, pet insurance, vet expenses and other sundry costs.
