How our application process works
Finding the right puppy starts with getting to know our dogs. Before applying, we encourage you to browse our mums & dads page, and our groodle sizes page, to get a feel for the different sizes and litters we raise. When you’re ready, here’s how the process works.
Step 1: Watch for Honeymoon News
We announce upcoming litters on our available puppies page, and on our Instagram and Facebook pages. Once an announcement goes live, applications open for that litter. Submit your application form and we’ll be in touch to arrange a call and get to know you.
Step 2: Join the Litter Waitlist
Once your application is approved and a fully refundable $500 deposit is paid, your name goes onto our Litter Waitlist for that litter. This is your expression of interest. It tells us you’d love a puppy from this litter — and it means we’ll be in touch as soon as puppies are born. If we don’t have a puppy available for you, we’ll refund your deposit in full or you can choose for us to hold it for a future litter. We will only invite as many people as we think we have puppies to join this list.
Step 3: Waiting for My Puppy List
We try to match each applicant to the best puppy for their needs. If we have a puppy for you, we’ll invite you to secure a puppy by paying an additional $500 (bringing your total deposit to $1,000) and signing a Purchase Agreement. Once that’s done, you’re on the Waiting for My Puppy List.
Please note: The $1,000 deposit is non-refundable, because we are holding a puppy for you. If you choose not to proceed, your deposit can be held for a future litter or donated to one of our charity partners.
Step 4: Meet the Litter
At around five weeks old, we host an exclusive Puppy Cuddle Session for families on the Waiting for My Puppy List. We are very grateful that our champion families agree to open their homes up for these sessions. It’s a wonderful chance to meet the mum and see the litter in person.
Step 5: Your Puppy Match
At six to seven weeks, we finalise each puppy’s personality profile using additional behavioural testing. We then send every family a personalised offer for a specific puppy. We don’t match puppies in order of who applied first — every family is assessed equally, and we do our best to find the right puppy for the right home.
Step 6: Bringing Your Puppy Home
Finalising the paperwork and arranging a pickup day — or in some cases interstate transport. Puppies are ready to go home at eight weeks old. You’ll find everything you need to prepare on our puppy homecoming page.
